Our story

How we got our start?

While working for the Peace Corps in Guatemala, Sarah met Mike, her life partner. They spent years absorbing the rich prism of hand-loomed weaves and tropical fruits, before starting a family and moving to California where Sarah dyed her first silks which were embraced by the Waldorf community.

What makes our product unique?

Our Playsilks, dress-ups, fort building kits, and other toys are designed by Sarah Lee with the help of the local Waldorf community. Every item is open-ended, requiring children to add their imaginations. Silk is a natural, renewable resource, and our dyes are non-toxic & non-hazardous.
