Product Description
STEM Lab Bundles
All STEM Lab kits can be used independently of each other. Bundles offer kids a great way to explore different STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) topics on their own or with friends.
STEM Lab kits don’t require the use of a computer (though we do publish helpful videos online) and the kits include the tools and batteries needed to build them: no more rummaging through drawers or going to the store just to use something you’ve purchased!
Our Story
At STEM Lab, we are teachers, parents, engineers, and nerds. Our focus is on high-quality materials and instructions, so your curious kids can have a ton of fun and learn valuable skills. Each kit has full-color instructions and ties into real STEM topics. Our goal is to inspire and enable the next generation of STEM problem solvers.
Hand Crank Flashlight
The STEM Lab hand crank flashlight is a useful human-powered tool! Kids 8-12 can assemble this toy in around 30 minutes with the full-color guide included. They will build a gear box that connects the handle of the flashlight to a power-generating motor. When they crank, their motion is translated to power through an electromagnetic coil (cool, huh!?) and turns on a bright white LED!
