Shelter Pets – Stuffed Animals Based on Real Life, Adopted Pets

Shelter Pets features plush animals that are based on real-life adopted pets. Every Shelter Pet was taken in by a non-profit shelter or rescue, and their story is featured on the Shelter Pets website along with real photos from their families.

Shelter Pets now includes eight dogs, four cats, a fox, a bunny, a horse, a raccoon, and a rat. They all have their own story to tell, and are soft, cuddly, and ready to be loved!

Each Shelter Pet is 10 inches tall (Chunk and Xena are 10 inches long, Beaker 14 inches long) and are stuffed with beans on the bottom and in the paws.

Peppa the Playful Tuxedo Cat From Illinois

Peppa was born on August 3, 2016 and adopted about a year later when her owner saw her while volunteering at the Bond County Humane Society. She was very playful from the beginning, but was very shy when at adoption events and did not get adopted. After getting to play with her each week while volunteering, she was adopted into a new family with her sister cat Zee and big brother cats, Frank and Jesse.

Each Shelter Pet is based on a real life pet that was adopted through shelters around the USA, with their stories on the Shelter Pets website along with photos of the real-life pets that each Shelter Pet is modeled after.

For every Shelter Pet purchased, 10% of net sales are donated to the shelter or rescue they were adopted from. About 75% of profits have been donated to shelters since Shelter Pets launched.
